Soundcycle Samba Workshop

What

On yer bikes - ready, steady, play!

Our percussionists are pedalling their way down to Kelvingrove Bandstand with plenty of percussion and bike parts to experiment with. This hour-long Soundcycle workshop is a fun way to get involved with music and sport all at once ahead of the European Championships arriving in Glasgow this August. We're pleased once again to be part of Glasgow Life's family programme of events at this wonderful venue in the heart of the West End, and the weather couldn't be nicer (let's hope it lasts)!

BYOB, if you like (bring your own bikes) and find out how to turn them into musical instruments! No tickets required.

If you love what you hear - don't miss our main Soundcycle concerts on Friday 10 August, City Halls. We've asked Glasgow-born composer, Tom Harrold to write us a piece for bike and orchestra and the phenomenal percussionist, Colin Currie will perform it!
