The main reason for us to collect personal data is to keep our audiences up to date about our past, current and future projects and events. 

Digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics may be used to record anonymous user’s interaction with CCC’s website. This gives us information about how people use this website, and it helps us 
investigate whether the website meets its users’ needs as well as to evaluate how our website can be improved. You may opt out of our use of Analytics by visiting the Google Analytics opt-out page.

How we collect your data

You can sign up on our e-newsletter through our website (, our concert quiz forms or through our newsletter sign-up sheet which we have present at all our events. Your email address will then be added on our mailing list on MailChimp, and you will regularly receive an e-newsletter including information about our projects and events. You can unsubscribe the newsletter at any time by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link on the bottom of the newsletter. 

You can also sign up on our postal mailing list and receive information about our projects and events by post. You can opt in for this list through our quiz forms, on which we always ask your permission to add you on the postal mailing list.

What we do with your information

We use personal data to tailor the information we provide you – we would for example use your postcode to ensure you would receive information about events that take place in your area. 
We only hold on to your personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes for which we collected it.  After that we will either delete it or anonymise it so that it cannot be linked back to you.
We do not share your personal data with any other organisations.

Your rights
