We’ve got a spring in our step now that plans for our upcoming tour are finalised and it would be lovely to see you at some of the venues, if you fancy a day trip or a wee outing! We have a great time on the road, and love to bring exciting and interactive programmes of music to families across the country. Let’s hope that snow doesn’t get in the way this time, please keep your fingers crossed! Here’s a bit more info about what to expect:

GYPSY JAZZ

A gig that gets the whole family in the groove! Catch Owen showing off his cool cat vibes and hear some swingin’ strings and sensational singing from Gypsy Jazz band, Rose Room – they recently won ‘BEST BAND’ at the 2018 Scottish Jazz Awards and lead singer, Seonaid, claimed ‘BEST VOCALIST’ for the second time in a row, so the opportunity to hear them live and jam along is not to be missed!! This is our first ever visit to Inverness, so spread the word if you have friends and family up North…
Please note that the pre-concert workshop has now SOLD OUT but there are still spaces to be snapped up in the auditorium for the main show!

PETER AND THE WOLF
Dundee and Aberdeen
Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 March

Do you remember Peter and the Wolf  from your childhood and fancy revisiting it with the kids? Or do you want to discover this iconic musical fairy-tale for the first time? Either way, we’ve got you covered!
Owen and our fab Essential Orchestra musicians are looking forward to getting into character as Peter and his animal friends – will they outsmart the wolf lurking in the woods and get young imaginations running wild? This hour-long concert showcases other stories set to music too, such as Romeo and Juliet and Sleeping Beauty, and it all finishes with a fab show tunes medley that will get the party started! Bring on the costumes, fun and games and no doubt a bit of drama too! We’re particularly pleased to be performing in the newly refurbished Music Hall in Aberdeen and are looking forward to returning to Dundee – you can find a teaser film of the action, here.
