Having been absolutely blown away by the reaction that this concert had earlier in the year, both at the Caird Hall (Dundee) and the recently refurbished Music Hall in Aberdeen, we’re now delighted to announce 2 performances of this popular concert in Glasgow next month!

Prokofiev’s iconic fairy tale is the centrepiece of a concert devised to celebrate storytelling and capture young imaginations. We’re really happy to be working with long-time friend (actor and dancer extraordinaire) Ryan Ferrie, as the narrator and members of the orchestra are set to bring Peter and his pets, the cat, duck and the bird to life on stage (find out whether they outsmart the wolf lurking in the forest)

Other pieces in the programme bring a bit of drama (Montagues and Capulets from Romeo and Juliet), magic (Sorcerer’s Apprentice) and silliness in the form of Owen’s ballet dancing (in his now trademark pink tutu) to the Sleeping Beauty Waltz. There are 2 performances (in the New Auditorium at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, 1pm & 3pm) and each last an hour, with the opportunity to meet some of the musicians afterwards – could this be the next chapter of your own musical story?

Please note that these performances will be filmed (and stay tuned for updates on our exciting plans…)
