Thanks so much for your interest in this secretive mission (for now)! While we can’t reveal the details of our Christmas concert with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra just yet, we’d love to include some home-made clips from as many of you as we can, from different settings and locations.

So, what do you need to do?
We’re looking for dancers of all abilities (amateurs, awkward dads, professionals) – basically, if you like to get in the groove we need to hear from you!

Let’s break it down, TO FEATURE IN OUR FILM (sponsored by La Bonne Auberge):

?Tell us who you are (whether you’re a solo or group act), where you’re from and register interest by emailing ccc@childrensclassicconcerts.co.uk before the end of *Sunday 22 November*
?We’ll then send you more details and the mp3 track you’ll need. Heads up, the deadline for the videos will be *Tuesday 1st December* at 12pm.
?Get in the party mood and show us your best moves – they could be street commercial, contemporary, ballet, ballroom, or just plain made up – all styles of dancing are encouraged!
?Be creative with your styling (some festive flair would be great) and location – maybe visit a local landmark, or jazz up your living room with a bit of seasonal sparkle.
?Please note it may not be possible to include every entry if we become over-subscribed.

Top Tips for Filming:

  • Make sure your camera/phone is filming in landscape
  • Keep the camera as still as possible
  • Have enough lighting
  • Keep it happy, lively and most of all, have fun!

With regards to safeguarding, it’s crucial that everyone featured in your video has given their consent, and if under 16, has the full permission of a parent/guardian/carer or responsible adult. Please also ensure that you follow current Government Guidelines for COVID-19 in your area* and create a safe/large enough space (free from trip hazards) to bring your routine to life. The finished film, involving several video entries will be shown on social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube and on the CCC website) and STV may also pick up the feature. By submitting your video, you are confirming to CCC and the RSNO that you have the necessary consent in place and that you’re happy for the footage to be shown on such platforms.
