Would you like to come on a musical adventure in Wonderland this Spring? We’re taking the live show of ‘Wonderland’, and it’s spin-off ‘Mad Hatter’s Tea Party’, around Scotland to delight our lovely audiences. So jump down the rabbit hole and join us!

First up: ‘Wonderland’! The good news is – even if you were lucky enough to see our film version of ‘Wonderland’ last year, there will be bonus music and the usual bonus CCC shenanigans (let’s face it, there always are bonus shenanigans when Owen’s involved!). So for those of you who haven’t seen the film…here’s a little preview of what to expect. Owen will be transformed into the much-loved character, the Mad Hatter (and of course, Alice, Tweedledee and Tweedledum will be invited to the party too!). Joined by the Essential Orchestra he will take the audience on a magical journey through the fantastical world of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and ‘Alice Through the Looking Glass’. Even more exciting is you’ll get to hear the premiere live performance of Paul Campbell’s piece ‘Jabberwocky’ which he wrote especially for this production!

As always, our carefully selected programme will include repertoire chosen to inspire and excite our audiences so you can expect some Rossini, Tchaikovsky, Grieg and much more.

 

 

Second up: ‘Mad Hatter’s Tea Party’! Owen has be on at us for ages about letting him and his friends (Tweedledee and Tweedledum) enjoy the spotlight so we’ve finally given in…’Mad Hatter’s Tea Party’ is a chance for this percussion-crazed bunch to have some fun! Join us in this ‘Wonderland’ spin-off for some unexpected tea party-inspired performances. Come along to see how to create some inventive music featuring tea cups and kitchen utensils…It’s guaranteed to get you up dancing!
