The Mad Hatter’s back – hear all about it!
And we’re back! What a few days we had…there was road tripping, ferry hopping, sea swimming and, of course, lots of toe-tapping music making! We had such fun being out on the road and getting to see lots of young music enthusiasts and their families. We’ve put together a video diary to show you what we got up to…enjoy!
We were in the Eastgate Theatre, Peebles, in Inverness’s Eden Court, then off to Ullapool for a school visit before getting the ferry across to Stornoway for concerts at An Lanntair! Phew! We managed to squeeze in some workshops and concerts for pre-schoolers too so it was a busy few days.
As always, we LOVE to hear what you thought of our concerts so if you attended any of the Mad Hatter’s Tea Parties then please do send us an email or leave us a review (or even a picture of you at the concert!) on social media. Did you dance along to the Mexican Hat Dance? Or polka Tritsch Tratsch style? Let us know! Maybe you were even inspired to create your own instruments after seeing Owen and his friends making funky percussive music? There’s always our Junk Trunk and Owen’s Percussion Store resources to spark your imagination too.
We thought we’d leave you with this picture of Owen with Colin and Jack (aka Tweedledee and Tweedledum) because it certainly makes us smile…!
