Support

Financial support by Trusts, Foundations and individuals is vital to the work of CCC

Contributions not only support our work in large concert halls, but also our smaller community events and workshops in schools and regional venues across Scotland.  At the heart of CCC’s ethos is careful planning to ensure that concerts are accessible to all children and their families across the country – we believe that no financial, social or geographical barriers should stop anyone from attending a performance.  We want our ticket prices to always remain affordable, something that is never far from our minds as the cost of living continues to put pressure on families – a CCC concert is cheaper than a trip to the cinema and many other activities.  For each of our events, we offer free tickets to vulnerable children and their support network.

With this in mind, box office and commercial income can only ever cover a small part of the costs involved in providing our wide-ranging programme.  Thanks to the support of regular funders we have, not only continued to offer symphony orchestra performances in Glasgow and Edinburgh as well as community and outreach strands across Scotland, we have also been able to develop new projects such as the Essential Orchestra, to reach even more children and families.  We aspire to continually create new and innovative performances to inspire the next generation of musicians, composers and, most importantly, music lovers.

Donations

The Coronavirus / COVID-19 pandemic impacted the lives of each and every one of us. Throughout restrictions, it was of utmost importance to us to provide continuity and entertainment for our family audience, which is why we embarked on the creation of concert films that were free to stream and watch back.

Whilst we are delighted to have made a strong return to live performances, we are now looking to integrate the digital aspect into our Season of activity going forward, which involves extra costs.

CCC is a non-profit charity (SC022841). If you feel able to contribute to the continued development of our organisation with a donation of any size, your support will be greatly valued and will help us to continue to plan both live and digital concerts for your future enjoyment.

To find out more about what we achieved during 2022/23, please see our Season Report.
