CCC takes ‘Acorns to Oaks – Seeds of Sounds’ to The Hidden Gardens
We’re stepping out into nature at the end of May with ‘Acorns to Oaks – Seeds of Sounds’. On the Saturday 28th May we invite you to join us in The Hidden Gardens in Glasgow for a day of concerts and workshops inspired by nature. And what’s more…it’s all FREE!
We want to spark your imagination and inspire you to explore the great outdoors. Watch and listen and enjoy nature’s performance! Explore how nature has created its own garden songbook: bringing the melodies of birdsong together with the rhythm of the leaves in the trees. There are lots of unexpected musical surprises to be discovered!
CCC’s Owen and Seonaid will host this family afternoon of musical fun in Glasgow’s sanctuary, which will run from 11am until 4pm. So come along, bring a picnic and sit out on the lawn to enjoy nature-inspired music. And with our workshops, which will also be running throughout the day, you’ll have your own chance to get involved. You can participate in a Garden Samba Band, make your own bird feeders, plant sunflowers and delight in nature’s musical performances! All we need now is a bit of sunshine…!
Our 30-minute concerts will run throughout the day with drop-in creative workshops with plenty of music and nature activities on hand to entertain the whole family. You can check out our programme for the day here (see right!) and drop in whenever you like – although we think you should come and enjoy the whole day with CCC!

The Hidden Gardens
The Hidden Gardens is a beautiful public oasis located in the Pollokshields area of Glasgow
It is an urban greenspace where you can relax away from the busy city streets, discover nature, get creative and connect with friends and neighbours.
A legacy of NVA Europe, The Hidden Gardens is an environmental artwork which has become an urban greenspace of international repute rooted in its local community.
