Over the past few days, we've realised that we've been showing up as sold out on the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall website, but this is a glitch - there are in fact plenty of tickets still available for both the 1pm and 3pm showings of Deck the Halls with Owen & Olly! Please also be careful to select tickets for the correct time as even when you click through our site for the 3pm - the online booking system on the concert hall's page defaults to 1pm. For 3pm, please click on the drop down arrow to select it! Seems as though the Grinch has been up to his usual tricks!!
If you, or someone you know, lives in the Drumchapel (or surrounding) area and you're free on a Monday afternoon after school - pop down to the Pheonix Centre to have a jam with some of the best percussionists in Scotland! We're joining forces with Depot Arts and want you guys to create your own music base at the Pheonix
Got your tickets for The Monsters' Ball? Know what you're wearing yet? Never too early to plan! With plenty of chilling tunes and beastly dance moves on the go you'll need something spooktacular to stand out from the crowd - think Strictly and get the scary sequins out!! Well worth the effort when this could be the reward
Here at Children's Classic Concerts, we're thrilled to be a champion of the BBC's Ten Pieces initiative - a wonderful adventure dedicated to bringing some epic classical* music into the classroom and a whole load of fun too! It's all around us, but the Ten Pieces film, recorded with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, digs a little deeper into this genre of music and explores the sights conjured up, as well as the sounds by each composer - imagination is key! The film is perfect for primary age children and schools can request a free DVD copy whilst stocks last. There are lots of fantastic resources that follow on from the film to help your child/school get hands-on and creative with music, so please visit the BBC Ten Pieces website
Dust off your dancing shoes, prepare to come dressed in your freaky finest and grab your tickets* now! Check out the What's On page for booking info. Hope to see you there!*Please note that our concerts are recommended for children of primary school age, although we welcome everyone. Babes in arms up to the age of 12 months go free, tickets required for children aged 1+

Out and about in Glasgow during the Games? Fancy soaking up the friendly atmosphere for FREE? Our very own Olly Cox (forget Murs!) has written a wonderfully inspirational song called 'We Can Fly!' which featured in our Commonwealth-themed Celebration Concert, Going For Gold in Glasgow and Dundee back in May.The great news is, there's another opportunity to hear it as part of the Kelvingrove Banstand Festival 2014 Programme! Make sure Saturday 26th July is in your diary!!Owen & Olly will be joined by their percussion pals from CCC's after-school music project in Drumchapel, together with pre-junior students from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland for another spine-tingling and tear-enducing performance.
