It’s that time of year again…yes, it’s COMPETITION TIME! We’re delighted to be running our competition once again with the fantastic team of student animators at the UWS Computer Animation Arts. Check out the video to see last year’s winner’s animation!
This year, we’re looking for some ghostly artwork to be included in ‘The Haunted Concert Hall’. Perhaps you could draw some spooky spectres you might bump into backstage, or paint some phantom musicians lurking in the dressing rooms…let your creativity run wild! (And bonus points if you include some musical instruments!) We are always amazed by the talent and imaginations out there – we can’t wait to see what you create!
And what music will accompany these animations? The suitably spine-chilling ‘Black Waltz’ by the up-and-coming composer, Roydon Tse.
The CCC Team will select 12 illustrations to feature in the concerts in Glasgow and Edinburgh at the end of October, and one lucky winner will also win a family ticket to the CCC concert of their choice.
TO ENTER: please email the image by Monday the 9th September at 9am to ccc@childrensclassicconcerts.co.uk, post in the comments below or send to us via WhatsApp on 0141 334 6100. To allow the animators to work their magic we will also need the original artwork (on A4 size white paper) or a high-quality scan. Please send this to CCC, 46A Fortrose Street, G11 5LP along with your child’s name, age and your contact details on a separate sheet by the 9th September. Good luck to you!
