My Instrument and Me

Let us introduce you to the instruments of the orchestra

Have you ever wondered about the instruments in the orchestra? Why do those violins have those f-shaped holes? How long would a French horn really be if it’s stretched out? And what’s the loudest family of the orchestra? Well we’ll answer all your questions with this brand new resource, ‘My Instrument and Me’.

You’ll learn about the different families and hear from our wonderful musicians who make up the Essential Orchestra. They’ll even play some of their favourite tunes for you! This is a brilliant way to introduce children to the wonders of the orchestra and perhaps spark that desire to pick up and instrument and play!
